Wellesley and Phoebe McGown have been at archery for 23 years and they are still competitive archers with a host of trophies and medals to mark their success in competitions.

These achievements have influenced their decision to develop a permanent archery range to help widen archery as a sport for people of any age.

The centre was opened in 1998 with an on site shop along with shooting facilities. This gives customers and archers local access to the latest in archery equipment and amenities.

An outdoor range with a covered shooting bay was opened in 1999 and to complete the facilities a 6 lane 30 meter indoor range was finished in 2002, putting the last touches to Wellesley and Phoebe's Dream of having a centre of excellence for the promotion and enjoyment of archery throughout Nothern Ireland.
